October 21, 2005: Louisa, KY 41230 The Mason County Royals beat the host Lawrence County Bulldogs football team by a score of 33-13 in Friday's league game.
The Royals now own a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to Johnson Central for a 3A District 8 game on Friday, October 28. Mason County will meet a Golden Eagles team coming off a 13-10 league loss to Ashland Blazer (Paintsville, KY). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 7-2.
With the loss, Lawrence County falls to 3-6 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Greenup County (Greenup, KY) to meet the Musketeers in a 3A District 8 game on Friday, October 28. The Musketeers enter the game with a record of 1-8. Greenup County lost 41-14 in their recent league game against Boyd County (Ashland, KY)
