Rio Americano Raiders (Sacramento, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the host River Valley Falcons (Yuba City, CA), 51-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Rio Americano upgrades its record to 10-3 on the season. The Raiders travel to Bear River (Grass Valley, CA) to encounter the Bruins in a non-league bout on Friday, December 28. The Bruins go into the bout with a record of 12-0. Bear River won 74-26 in their recent non-league bout against San Juan (Citrus Heights, CA)

Next up, the Falcons encounter the San Juan Spartans (Citrus Heights, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 28. River Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 8-5 record after their 74-26 non-league loss to Bear River (Grass Valley, CA).
