December 14, 2010: Thibodaux, LA 70301 Morgan City Tigers (Morgan City, LA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the host Thibodaux Tigers (Thibodaux, LA), 59-55 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Morgan City upgrades its record to 8-1 on the season. The Tigers travel to Central Catholic (Morgan City, LA) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 16. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 3-0. Central Catholic won 81-37 in their recent non-league bout against Berwick (Berwick, LA)
Next up, the Tigers encounter the Ellender Patriots (Houma, LA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 20. Thibodaux will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 4-4 record after their 79-71 non-league win over Terrebonne (Houma, LA).
