Texas High School Football - La Porte gets by Deer Park
September 23, 2011: La Porte, TX 77571 The La Porte Bulldogs football squad scored 34 points and restricted the visiting Deer Park Deer to 31 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Friday.
The Bulldogs now possess a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Channelview for a 5A Region III District 21 battle on Friday, October 7. La Porte will play a Falcons squad coming off a 51-43 non-league win over Dobie (Houston, TX). The Falcons record now stands at 4-1.
Next up, the Deer meet the South Houston Trojans (South Houston, TX) in a 5A Region III District 22 challenge, on Friday, October 7. Deer Park will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 49-6 non-league loss to Port Arthur Memorial (Port Arthur, TX).
