The Emery Spartans football squad scored 30 points and limited the visiting Uintah Utes to 10 in the Spartans non-league win on Friday.

The Spartans now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Manti for a 2A - North battle on Friday, September 2. Emery will play a Templars squad coming off a 49-17 non-league loss to Juan Diego Catholic (Draper, UT). The Templars record now stands at 1-1.

Coming up next, the Utes play the Rich Rebels (Randolph, UT) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 9. Uintah will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record.
