December 31, 2008: Plano, TX 75093 In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Liberty Christian Warriors (Argyle, TX) basketball squad knocked off the host Prestonwood Christian Lions (Plano, TX), by a margin of 60-47.
The Warriors (15-6) will now prepare for their outing against Southwest Christian (Fort Worth, TX). The Eagles go into the non-league outing with a 4-6 record. In their last outing, Southwest Christian was beaten by Tatum (Tatum, TX), 57-34, in a non-league outing.
The Lions now own a 12-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Trinity Christian for a TAPPS 5A District 1 outing on Saturday, January 3. Prestonwood Christian will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 68-44 non-league win over Dallas Lutheran (Dallas, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 12-6.
