In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Klamath Union Pelicans (Klamath Falls, OR) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Phoenix Pirates (Phoenix, OR), by a count of 62-37.

The Pelicans (5-4) will now prepare for their outing against North Valley (Grants Pass, OR). The Knights go into the non-league outing with a 2-4 record.

The Pirates now hold a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Valley for a 4A Skyline outing on Tuesday, January 5. Phoenix will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 65-61 non-league loss to South Umpqua (Myrtle Creek, OR). The Knights record now stands at 2-4.
