In Tuesday's league match, the visiting East Duplin Panthers basketball team scored a decisive 68-47 triumph over the South Lenoir Blue Devils.

In their next game, the Panthers confront the Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC) in a 2A East Central match, on Thursday, January 26. East Duplin will attempt to better on its 8-8 season record. The Pirates enter the match with a 12-5 record after their 51-42 league win over Northside (Jacksonville, NC).
