Texas High School Basketball - Caprock winner over Holliday
December 10, 2011: Amarillo, TX 79103 The Caprock Longhorns (Amarillo, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting Holliday Eagles (Holliday, TX), 51-39 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Longhorns (1-6) will now prepare for their test against Plainview (Plainview, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 4A Region I District 3 match with a 6-5 record. In their last match, Plainview lost by Randall (Amarillo, TX), 69-52, in a non-league match.
With the defeat, Holliday moves to 1-1 on the year. The Eagles host Haskell (Haskell, TX) to confront the Indians in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 13. The Indians enter the match with a record of 1-2.
