October 18, 2014: Marrero, LA 70072 In Saturday's league match, the visiting Jesuit Bluejays football squad scored a big 49-14 victory over the Archbishop Shaw Eagles.
In their next game, the Bluejays clash with the Archbishop Rummel Raiders (Metairie, LA) in a 5A District 9 match, on Saturday, October 25. Jesuit will attempt to move on its 7-1 season record. The Raiders enter the match with a 7-0 record after their 35-6 league win over St. Augustine (New Orleans, LA).
The Eagles (5-3) will now prepare for their match against Brother Martin (New Orleans, LA). The Crusaders enter the 5A District 9 match with a 7-0 record. In their last bout, Brother Martin walloped Holy Cross (New Orleans, LA), 42-10, in a league bout.
