The Lucerne Valley Mustangs softball team scored 7 points and limited the host Academy for Academic Excellence Knights to 6 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Lucerne Valley moves its record to 2-2 on the year. The Mustangs host Excelsior (Carmichael, CA) to clash with the Knights in a non-league game on Tuesday, March 17. The Knights come into the game with a record of 0-0.
