The Buckley Griffins (Sherman Oaks, CA) basketball nipped the visiting University Wildcats (Los Angeles, CA), 41-38 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Griffins (6-0) will now prepare for their test against Price (Los Angeles, CA). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 6-2 record. In their last test, Price got by Fairfax (Los Angeles, CA), 54-41, in a non-league test.

The Wildcats now own a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Notre Dame for a non-league test on Friday, December 16. University will clash with a Knights squad coming off a 62-58 non-league win over Oaks Christian (Westlake Village, CA). The Knights record now stands at 4-1.
