California High School Basketball - Monta Vista can't hold off Notre Dame

The Notre Dame Regents basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Monta Vista Matadors to 57 in the Regents non-league triumph on Friday.

The Regents now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Silver Creek for a non-league contest on Monday, December 7. Notre Dame will meet a Raiders team coming off a 44-43 non-league win over Los Altos (Los Altos, CA). The Raiders record now stands at 2-1.

The Matadors (2-2) will now prepare for their bout against Leigh (San Jose, CA). The Longhorns come into the non-league bout with a 2-2 record. In their last bout, Leigh held off San Lorenzo (San Lorenzo, CA), 37-29, in a non-league bout.
