Texas High School Basketball - Prestonwood Christian thwarts Prince of Peace
January 29, 2011: Plano, TX 75093 The Prestonwood Christian Lions (Plano, TX) basketball felled the visiting Prince of Peace Eagles (Carrollton, TX), 61-47 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Lions (13-7) will now prepare for their test against Liberty Christian (Argyle, TX). The Warriors go into the TAPPS 5A District 1 test with a 27-2 record. In their last test, Liberty Christian defeated Bishop Lynch (Dallas, TX), 51-41, in a league test.
The Eagles now own a 6-11 record. They take the field next when they host Ovilla Christian for a TAPPS 3A District 3 test on Tuesday, February 1. Prince of Peace will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 50-35 league loss to Covenant Christian (Colleyville, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 15-9.
