In Saturday's league outing, the Prestonwood Christian Lions (Plano, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Bishop Lynch Friars (Dallas, TX), by a margin of 69-48.

The Lions (20-5) will now prepare for their outing against Parish Episcopal (Dallas, TX). The Panthers go into the TAPPS 5A District 1 outing with a 10-7 record. In their last outing, Parish Episcopal smashed John Paul II (Plano, TX), 68-63, in a league outing.

The Friars now own a 13-9 record. They play next when they travel to Bishop Dunne for a TAPPS 5A District 1 outing on Tuesday, January 20. Bishop Lynch will clash with a Falcons squad coming off a 65-58 league win over Liberty Christian (Argyle, TX). The Falcons record now stands at 9-11.
