Illinois High School Basketball - Marshall winner over West Side
December 29, 2010: Chicago, IL 60624 In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Marshall Commandos (Chicago, IL) basketball squad knocked off the visiting West Side Cougars (Gary, IN), by a margin of 70-53.
The Commandos (5-5) will now prepare for their match against Linton-Stockton (Linton, IN). The Miners enter the non-league match with a 4-4 record. In their last match, Linton-Stockton overcame Monrovia (Monrovia, IN), 46-42, in a non-league match.
With the defeat, West Side moves to 3-6 on the year. The Cougars travel to Riley (South Bend, IN) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 11. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 8-2.
