Oregon High School Baseball - Fruitland defeats Baker/Powder Valley
March 25, 2011: Baker City, OR Spectators at Friday's non-league battle between the Fruitland Grizzlies (Fruitland, ID) and the host Baker/Powder Valley Bulldogs (Baker City, OR), saw Fruitland's baseball squad beat Baker/Powder Valley by a margin of 6-1.
Coming up next, the Grizzlies play the Weiser Wolverines (Weiser, ID) in a 3A Snake River Valley battle, on Tuesday, March 29. Fruitland will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record.
The Bulldogs now sport a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Grant Union for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 29. Baker/Powder Valley will encounter a Prospectors squad coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Seaside (Seaside, OR). The Prospectors record now stands at 4-1.
