The Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the host Saguaro Sabercats to 36 in the Mountain Lions non-league victory on Monday.

The Mountain Lions now sport a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Gilbert for a non-league contest on Wednesday, November 26. Mountain Ridge will meet a Tigers team coming off a 42-41 non-league loss to Pinnacle (Phoenix, AZ). The Tigers record now stands at 1-1.

The Sabercats (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Corona del Sol (Tempe, AZ). The Aztecs come into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Corona del Sol was routed by Gilbert (Gilbert, AZ), 47-43, in a non-league contest.
