Georgia High School Football - Pope victorious over Campbell
October 10, 2008: Smyrna, GA 30080 In Friday's league match, the visiting Pope Greyhounds football squad scored a good 42-28 victory over the Campbell Spartans.
In their next game, the Greyhounds clash with the Wheeler Wildcats (Marietta, GA) in a 6-AAAAA match, on Friday, October 17. Pope will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The Wildcats enter the match with a 0-6 record after their 28-12 league loss to Roswell (Roswell, GA).
The Spartans (1-5) will now prepare for their match against Kell (Marietta, GA). The Longhorns enter the 6-AAAAA match with a 5-1 record. In their last match, Kell thwarted Centennial (Roswell, GA), 37-17, in a league match.
