In Monday's league challenge, the visiting St. Bernard Saints lacrosse team scored a close 14-12 win over the Wheeler Lions.

The Saints now own a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host Norwich Free Academy for a Eastern Connecticut challenge on Thursday, April 26. St. Bernard will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 21-5 league loss to East Lyme (East Lyme, CT). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-3.

In their next game, the Lions meet the Fitch Falcons (Groton, CT) in a Eastern Connecticut challenge, on Thursday, April 26. Wheeler will attempt to advance on its 0-4 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 12-11 league loss to Ledyard (Ledyard, CT).
