Nipomo Titans (Nipomo, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Lompoc Braves (Lompoc, CA), 44-42 in a league bout.

With the win, Nipomo upgrades its record to 9-10 on the season. The Titans travel to Templeton (Templeton, CA) to play the Eagles in a Los Padres bout on Wednesday, January 19. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 2-12. Templeton lost 55-51 in their recent league bout against Cabrillo (Lompoc, CA)

Next up, the Braves battle the Morro Bay Pirates (Morro Bay, CA) in a Los Padres challenge, on Wednesday, January 19. Lompoc will attempt to improve on its 2-11 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 10-8 record after their 60-53 league win over Santa Maria (Santa Maria, CA).
