Texas High School Basketball - Brownfield prevails Muleshoe
December 6, 2011: Brownfield, TX 79316 Brownfield Cubs (Brownfield, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Muleshoe Mules (Muleshoe, TX), 36-28 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Brownfield upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Cubs host Morton (Morton, TX) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Friday, December 16. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 6-3.
Next up, the Mules play the Tulia Hornets (Tulia, TX) in a 2A Region I District 2 bout, on Monday, December 19. Muleshoe will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record.
