In Thursday's non-league outing, the Aztec Tigers (Aztec, NM) basketball squad beat the visiting Montezuma-Cortez Panthers (Cortez, CO), by a margin of 65-53.

The Tigers (2-5) will now prepare for their outing against Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM). The Hilltoppers go into the non-league outing with a 3-4 record. In their last outing, Los Alamos gained a win over Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM), 41-39, in a non-league outing.
