October 14, 2011: Laurinburg, NC 28352 In Friday's league game, the Scotland Fighting Scots (Laurinburg, NC) football team smashed the visiting Hoke County Bucks (Raeford, NC), by a final score of 47-0.
The Fighting Scots (8-0) will now prepare for their game against Lumberton (Lumberton, NC). The Pirates come into the 4A Southeastern game with a 7-1 record. In their last game, Lumberton was trounced by Richmond (Rockingham, NC), 20-15, in a league game.
The Bucks now hold a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Purnell Swett for a 4A Southeastern game on Friday, October 21. Hoke County will battle a Rams team coming off a 23-20 league loss to Pinecrest (Southern Pines, NC). The Rams record now stands at 3-5.
