The West Windsor-Plainsboro South Pirates (Princeton Junction, NJ) basketball knocked off the host Hopewell Valley Central Bulldogs (Pennington, NJ), 55-36 in Tuesday's league test.

The Pirates (6-2) will now prepare for their test against Steinert (Hamilton, NJ). The Spartans go into the Colonial Valley - Patriot test with a 0-7 record. In their last test, Steinert was beaten by Hamilton (Hamilton, NJ), 42-38, in a non-league test.

The Bulldogs now own a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they host Nottingham for a non-league test on Friday, January 14. Hopewell Valley Central will encounter a Northstars squad coming off a 56-51 non-league loss to Notre Dame (Lawrenceville, NJ). The Northstars record now stands at 3-6.
