Maryland High School Lacrosse - Briar Woods trounced by Georgetown Prep
March 27, 2009: North Bethesda, MD 20852 Georgetown Prep Little Hoyas (North Bethesda, MD) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse team top the visiting Briar Woods Falcons (Ashburn, VA), 19-5 in a non-league challenge.
The Little Hoyas now have a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Paul's for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 31. Georgetown Prep will face a Crusaders team coming off a 17-10 non-league win over Western Reserve Academy (Hudson, OH). The Crusaders record now stands at 5-0.
In their next game, the Falcons face the Boys Latin Lakers (Baltimore, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, March 31. Briar Woods will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Lakers come into the challenge with a 5-0 record after their 15-10 non-league win over St. Stephen's-St. Agnes (Alexandria, VA).
