In Friday's non-league game, the Vista del Lago Eagles (Folsom, CA) football team were victorious over the host Placer Hillmen (Auburn, CA), by a score of 62-51.

The Eagles (2-3) will now prepare for their game against El Camino (Sacramento, CA). The Eagles come into the Capital Athletic League game with a 3-2 record. In their last game, El Camino was knocked off by American Canyon (American Canyon, CA), 28-21, in a non-league game.

The Hillmen now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Center for a Pioneer Valley League game on Friday, October 10. Placer will battle a Cougars team coming off a 14-13 non-league win over Encinal (Alameda, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 3-2.
