The Seguin Cougars football team (Arlington, TX), was beaten 36-14 in Friday's league challenge with the host Mansfield Summit Jaguars (Arlington, TX)

The Jaguars (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Lancaster (Lancaster, TX). The Tigers come into the 5A Region II District 14 challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, Lancaster achieved victory over Mansfield Legacy (Mansfield, TX), 55-40, in a league challenge.

The Cougars now sport a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Waxahachie for a 5A Region II District 14 challenge on Thursday, October 23. Seguin will meet a Indians team coming off a 57-27 league loss to Mansfield Timberview (Arlington, TX). The Indians record now stands at 1-6.
