September 17, 2011: North Branch, MN 55056 The North Branch Vikings topped the visiting Moose Lake/Willow River Rebels volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Vikings now have a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Francis for a non-league test on Saturday, September 17. North Branch will confront a Fighting Saints team coming off a 3-0 league win over Spring Lake Park (Spring Lake Park, MN). The Fighting Saints record now stands at 4-6.
With the loss, Moose Lake/Willow River moves to 2-10 on the year. The Rebels host Cook County (Grand Marais, MN) to battle the Vikings in a Polar contest on Tuesday, September 20. The Vikings go into the contest with a record of 3-2. Cook County won 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Mesabi East (Aurora, MN)
