New Jersey High School Basketball - Camden Catholic topped by Camden
February 15, 2011: Camden, NJ 08103 The Camden Panthers basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting Camden Catholic Fighting Irish to 47 in the Panthers league victory on Tuesday.
The Panthers now sport a 6-18 record. They play next when they travel to Seneca for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 17. Camden will play a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 88-40 non-league loss to Paul VI (Haddonfield, NJ). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 2-20.
Next up, the Fighting Irish play the Woodrow Wilson Tigers (Camden, NJ) in a Olympic - National bout, on Thursday, February 17. Camden Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 14-6 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 8-15 record after their 64-49 league loss to Bishop Eustace Prep (Pennsauken, NJ).
