The Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC) baseball trounced the host Rocky River Ravens (Mint Hill, NC), 13-0 in Friday's league contest.

Coming up next, the Pirates play the Parkwood Rebels (Monroe, NC) in a non-league contest, on Monday, March 30. Porter Ridge will attempt to better on its 3-7 season record. The Rebels enter the contest with a 7-2 record after their 2-1 league loss to West Stanly (Oakboro, NC).
