Louisiana High School Football - Salmen drops to East Jefferson
October 24, 2014: Slidell, LA 70451 In Friday's league game, the East Jefferson Warriors (Metairie, LA) football team knocked off the host Salmen Spartans (Slidell, LA), by a score of 24-13.
The Warriors (5-3) will now prepare for their game against Franklinton (Franklinton, LA). The Demons come into the 4A District 8 game with a 7-1 record. In their last game, Franklinton toppled Lakeshore (Mandeville, LA), 56-14, in a league game.
The Spartans now sport a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Riverdale for a 4A District 8 game on Saturday, November 1. Salmen will battle a Rebels team coming off a 48-0 league win over Pearl River (Pearl River, LA). The Rebels record now stands at 4-5.
