Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Altoona Lions (Altoona, PA) and the host Ambridge Bridgers (Ambridge, PA), saw Altoona's basketball team wallop Ambridge by a tally of 65-44.

The Lions now sport a 16-3 record. They play next when they host Mifflin County for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 7. Altoona will meet a team coming off a 57-47 non-league win over Hollidaysburg (Hollidaysburg, PA). The record now stands at 16-3.
