Nebraska High School Basketball - Seward overwhelms Fairbury
February 7, 2012: Fairbury, NE 68352 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Seward Bluejays (Seward, NE) and the host Fairbury Jeffs (Fairbury, NE), saw Seward's basketball squad trounce Fairbury by a score of 58-32.
With the victory, Seward improves its record to 19-0 on the campaign. The Bluejays host York (York, NE) to battle the Dukes in a B District 4 challenge on Friday, February 10. The Dukes come into the challenge with a record of 7-11. York won 67-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Lakeview (Columbus, NE)
Next up, the Jeffs battle the Lincoln Lutheran Warriors (Lincoln, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 10. Fairbury will attempt to improve on its 8-11 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 8-11 record after their 50-24 non-league loss to Scotus (Columbus, NE).
