The Covenant Eagles (Charlottesville, VA) baseball nipped the visiting North Cross Raiders (Roanoke, VA), 3-2 in Friday's league contest.

Coming up next, the Eagles encounter the Hargrave Military Academy Tigers (Chatham, VA) in a VISAA Virginia Independent challenge, on Tuesday, April 5. Covenant will attempt to upgrade on its 9-3 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 18-0 league win over Fishburne Military (Waynesboro, VA).

With the defeat, North Cross falls to 6-3 on the season. The Raiders host Roanoke Catholic (Roanoke, VA) to encounter the Celtics in a VISAA Virginia Independent challenge on Monday, April 4.
