In Friday's non-league outing, the North Saxons (Torrance, CA) basketball squad edged the visiting Redondo Sea Hawks (Redondo Beach, CA), by a count of 79-72.

The Saxons (11-5) will now prepare for their outing against El Segundo (El Segundo, CA). The Eagles go into the Pioneer outing with a 8-8 record. In their last outing, El Segundo nipped Palos Verdes (Palos Verdes Estates, CA), 31-26, in a non-league outing.
