Minnesota High School Basketball - Spring Lake Park can't hold off Columbia Heights
February 18, 2010: Columbia Heights, MN 55421 The Columbia Heights Hylanders basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Spring Lake Park Panthers to 67 in the Hylanders league triumph on Thursday.
The Hylanders now sport a 18-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Benilde-St. Margaret's for a North Suburban contest on Tuesday, February 23. Columbia Heights will meet a Red Knights team coming off a 84-75 non-league win over Minneapolis South (Minneapolis, MN). The Red Knights record now stands at 18-4.
The Panthers (10-13) will now prepare for their contest against Chisago Lakes Area (Lindstrom, MN). The Wildcats enter the North Suburban contest with a 6-16 record. In their last contest, Chisago Lakes Area nudged Denfeld (Duluth, MN), 68-57, in a non-league contest.
