The Rivers Red Wings basketball team scored 42 points and held the visiting Brooks to 31 in the Red Wings league triumph on Saturday.

The Red Wings now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Madison Park RVT/McKinley RVT for a non-league contest on Monday, February 15. Rivers will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 71-63 non-league win over Cambridge Rindge & Latin (Cambridge, MA). The Cardinals record now stands at 16-1.

The (6-9) will now prepare for their contest against Belmont Hill (Belmont, MA). The Hillies enter the Independent School contest with a 8-11 record. In their last contest, Belmont Hill was defeated by Beaver Country Day (Chestnut Hill, MA), 53-36, in a non-league contest.
