The Mallard Creek Mavericks thwarted the visiting Robinson Bulldogs basketball team by a score of 47-38 in Tuesday's league contest.

The Mavericks now sport a 16-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Mecklenburg for a 4A Meck contest on Thursday, February 12. Mallard Creek will battle a Vikings team coming off a 54-49 league loss to Hough (Cornelius, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 12-10.

The Bulldogs (15-7) will now prepare for their contest against West Charlotte (Charlotte, NC). The Lions come into the 4A Meck contest with a 9-14 record. In their last contest, West Charlotte prevailed over A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC), 53-47, in a league contest.
