The McLaurin Tigers football team (Florence, MS), was ripped 49-17 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Forest Bearcats (Forest, MS)

The Bearcats (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Andrews Episcopal (Ridgeland, MS). The Saints come into the 3A Region 6 challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, St. Andrews Episcopal was ripped by Raleigh (Raleigh, MS), 47-6, in a league challenge.

The Tigers now sport a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bailey Magnet for a 3A Region 6 challenge on Friday, October 21. McLaurin will meet a Knights team coming off a 45-12 league loss to Morton (Morton, MS). The Knights record now stands at 1-7.
