Maryland High School Basketball - DuVal overwhelms Middletown
December 23, 2008: Middletown, MD 21769 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the DuVal Tigers (Lanham, MD) and the host Middletown Knights (Middletown, MD), saw DuVal's basketball squad trounce Middletown by a score of 73-35.
With the victory, DuVal improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Bowie (Bowie, MD) to battle the Bulldogs in a Prince George's County 4A challenge on Tuesday, January 6. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 3-1. Bowie won 61-43 in their recent league challenge against Oxon Hill (Oxon Hill, MD)
Next up, the Knights battle the Frederick Cadets (Frederick, MD) in a MVAL - Piedmont challenge, on Monday, January 5. Middletown will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Cadets come into the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 73-64 non-league win over Glenelg (Glenelg, MD).
