The Minneapolis North Polars (Minneapolis, MN) basketball nipped the host Worthington Trojans (Worthington, MN), 79-78 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Polars (14-7) will now prepare for their test against Edison (Minneapolis, MN). The Tommies go into the Minneapolis City test with a 12-12 record. In their last test, Edison got by Breck (Minneapolis, MN), 70-51, in a non-league test.

The Trojans now own a 20-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pipestone for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 24. Worthington will clash with a Arrows squad coming off a 61-52 non-league loss to Murray County Central (Slayton, MN). The Arrows record now stands at 16-4.
