California High School Football - Riordan drops to Serra
October 31, 2009: San Francisco, CA 94112 In Saturday's league game, the Serra Padres (San Mateo, CA) football team knocked off the host Riordan Crusaders (San Francisco, CA), by a final score of 35-13.
The Padres (5-3) will now prepare for their game against Archbishop Mitty (San Jose, CA). The Monarchs come into the West Catholic game with a 7-0 record. In their last game, Archbishop Mitty toppled St. Francis (Mountain View, CA), 28-14, in a league game.
The Crusaders now hold a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Valley Christian for a West Catholic game on Friday, November 6. Riordan will battle a Warriors team coming off a 17-13 league win over St. Ignatius (San Francisco, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 5-3.
