California High School Softball - Christian Brothers gets by McClatchy

May 5, 2014: Sacramento, CA 95820

The Christian Brothers Falcons nipped the visiting McClatchy Lions softball squad by a final score of 6-5 in Monday's non-league battle.

The Falcons (13-13) will now prepare for their battle against Bella Vista (Fair Oaks, CA). The Broncos go into the Capital Valley Conference battle with a 18-7 record. In their last battle, Bella Vista was edged by Del Campo (Fair Oaks, CA), 4-0, in a league battle.

The Lions now possess a 16-5 record. They play next when they travel to Sacramento for a Metropolitan Conference battle on Tuesday, May 6. McClatchy will meet a Dragons squad coming off a 5-3 league loss to Kennedy (Sacramento, CA). The Dragons record now stands at 9-12.
