New Jersey High School Basketball - Ridge holds off Roselle Catholic
December 30, 2011: Basking Ridge, NJ 07920 Fans at Friday's non-league test between the Ridge Red Devils (Basking Ridge, NJ) and the visiting Roselle Catholic Lions (Roselle, NJ), witnessed Ridge's basketball squad tip Roselle Catholic by a margin of 48-43.
The Red Devils (4-2) will now prepare for their test against Immaculata (Somerville, NJ). The Spartans go into the Skyland - Delaware test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Immaculata got by Notre Dame (Lawrenceville, NJ), 76-69, in a non-league test.
The Lions now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Scotch Plains-Fanwood for a non-league test on Thursday, January 5. Roselle Catholic will clash with a Raiders squad coming off a 57-49 league win over St. Mary-Assumption (Elizabeth, NJ). The Raiders record now stands at 4-3.
