April 30, 2010: Rolling Hills Estates, CA 90274 The Palos Verdes Peninsula Panthers got by the visiting Mira Costa Mustangs baseball team by a count of 3-2 in Friday's league bout.
The Panthers now possess a 9-14 record. They take the field next when they host Downey for a non-league bout on Saturday, May 1. Palos Verdes Peninsula will face a Vikings team coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Laguna Beach (Laguna Beach, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 13-11.
Next, the Mustangs face the Redondo Union Sea Hawks (Redondo Beach, CA) in a Bay bout, on Wednesday, May 5. Mira Costa will attempt to move on its 11-13 season record. The Sea Hawks enter the bout with a 10-14 record after their 10-4 non-league win over St. Bonaventure (Ventura, CA).
