In Thursday's league outing, the Penns Valley Area Rams (Spring Mills, PA) basketball squad beat the host Tyrone Golden Eagles (Tyrone, PA), by a margin of 73-65.

The Rams (6-6) will now prepare for their outing against Central Mountain (Mill Hall, PA). The Wildcats go into the non-league outing with a 6-3 record. In their last outing, Central Mountain gained a win over Huntingdon (Huntingdon, PA), 61-47, in a league outing.

The Golden Eagles now own a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Philipsburg-Osceola for a Mountain - Nittany outing on Monday, January 18.
