Louisiana High School Basketball - Port Allen overwhelms Livonia
January 18, 2011: Port Allen, LA 70767 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Port Allen Pelicans (Port Allen, LA) and the visiting Livonia Wildcats (Livonia, LA), saw Port Allen's basketball squad trounce Livonia by a score of 63-41.
With the victory, Port Allen improves its record to 13-6 on the campaign. The Pelicans travel to Plaquemine (Plaquemine, LA) to play the Devils in a 3A District 8 challenge on Friday, January 21. The Devils come into the challenge with a record of 14-7. Plaquemine won 62-20 in their recent league challenge against Livonia (Livonia, LA)
Next up, the Wildcats play the St. James Wildcats (St. James, LA) in a 3A District 8 challenge, on Friday, January 21. Livonia will attempt to improve on its 6-8 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 15-9 record after their 62-42 league win over Brusly (Brusly, LA).
