November 10, 2011: Palestine, TX 75801 The La Vega Pirates football squad scored 21 points and restricted the host Palestine Wildcats to 0 in the Pirates non-league victory on Thursday.
The Pirates now possess a 11-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chapel Hill for a non-league challenge on Thursday, November 17. La Vega will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 70-28 non-league win over Jasper (Jasper, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-0.
The Wildcats now sport a 7-4 record.
