Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Bowling Green Purples (Bowling Green, KY) and the visiting McCracken County (Paducah, KY), saw Bowling Green's basketball squad hold off McCracken County by a tally of 64-58.

With the victory, Bowling Green improves its record to 29-6 on the campaign. The Purples travel to Covington Catholic (Park Hills, KY) to confront the Colonels in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 22. The Colonels come into the challenge with a record of 31-2. Covington Catholic won 61-54 in their recent non-league challenge against Bardstown (Bardstown, KY)
